Winter Holiday. (PART ONE)

it's been a long time since i write.

i'm currently active in Youtube than other social media i have.

.

i know its been so long since winter and now is almost fall.

but its never to late to write right? hehe
and i just start missing this trip :(

it's been 8 months, i went to Europe. thankfully my parents can support me and made me enjoy the trip. I went there without my family, but with my school mates. we went to France, Italy, and UEA. the trip is about 9 days.

i hope i can go there again but this time with my family.
.
as you know, I'm majoring in Architecture, so this trip mostly is a trip to see a building with a history behind it or have a super structure that we never see before.
.
FYI, 2 days before the departure i fell sick and i even got fever, LOL
my mom even afraid that i'll be deported back, but that's not happening. So, i just went there in the condition that i have a fever and there's winter.
.
.
So, then i went to Paris, transit in Abu Dhabi.
yea, then got to Paris after several hours flying in the air.
.

Finally Paris.
it's 9 degree celsius outside the airport and i don't wear heat tech inner (because i thought i can bear the cold very well, and super lazy to wear it)
well done. it's super windy in Paris
I'm freezing cold, even at the bus with the heater on.

i'm still freezing

we arrive there like in the evening
then we went to La Defense right a way, and arrive there like 7/8 PM
where the temperature usually went down.
LIKE WHAT
i cant even talk and we need to walk there by foot, it's super not cool
and i even dress like a villa guard.
it's funny when i think it back, but that doesn't feel funny at all back then.

but i can say the view is amazing.

Catching UP !

hi ! again

I'm in the middle of my summer break, this evening i just got news that my campus is extend our break until august 22nd. Isn't that amazing? I got one week bonus of doing nothing. It's like a chance to do more fun this holiday.

.

Since it's been a long time i'm talking here. I've been through a lot of things.

there's time when i failed one of my class, and that one is the most important class that i need to pass if i want to graduate fast. Now, I'll be late to graduate :(

.

But,

It's not really a bad thing, right? 

Of course, 

i feel bad to my parents because they need to support me a bit longer than they've been planned. I also feel lost about many things. 

Well, i can't do anything about it now, because it's already happen. I just need to try harder next time, because this situation like slapping me in my face to tell me to be more serious in my study.

okay, move on.

After i'm going through all that,

my family and i going to Singapore for a week! Although the purpose is to check-up my sister eyes (now her both eyes is doing great!) , but we're also spent a lot of time to do some fun.

.

Here's some recap:

We went to a lot of mall, ofc,

And there's one mall you all need to know! It's called IMM (exit Jurong East MRT)

it's like a mall of outlet.

yes, you can find a lot cheaper things here than normal store. The outlet that you find there is not like the factory outlet one, that you can find in Indonesia. 

Some brand that you all also know like COACH, AGNES B, FURLA, COTTON ON, etc is opening their own store, just like a normal mall, but cheaper.

well, that one should explain all.

Tips for you guys, it's pretty far from the MRT station, it takes about 10 min. to get there, Not to worry they have an access (called J-Walk) to get there, 

and you need to see the direction of the exit.

if not maybe you'll be tired to explore all those area.

.

there's also a story behind this mall.

my sister phone is lost in that mall.

because she left it in the some kind of "restroom wall "( about 100 cm high, well i don't know what it called..) behind the toilet.

and just realized it 2 hours later when we're already in Bugis.

that's such a bad day for her.

until know we don't know where her phone is. 

It's gone.

IKEA Home Furnishing

This place is so popular lately.
Yep, this is the first Ikea branch ever in Indonesia.

Please ignore that annoying street lamp. 

Why this place become so popular?
Well, Indonesian, especially teenagers, watched video from youtube, thats include some beauty guru, comedian, music and many more. In conclusion, they thinks Ikea is some kind of cool place, because the foreigner shop their furniture there.
That's that. And this disease spread out like that.

Because of the curiosity, I went there. Yea
It is like furniture shops in general. But the good point about this store is well-organized.

Showroom.

We are human, so if there's something new that different, it catches our attention. That's also one thing that makes ikea become popular.
People in another country that already have ikea in their region maybe don't feel that amused.
The difference here is we're serving our self.
In short, we look the things we want in the showroom, and pick the things in their warehouse ourself and then we pay. We also build them ourself. Yep like that.

there's a pencil, list paper, ruler,and guide paper. This thing is scattered in showroom area.
If you're planning to buy something, don't forget to take them one with you!

So, actually at monday.

I went to school to get my certificate of graduating high school. YEAY!

Because it took it so long for waiting about two or three months from the day we finish our national exam.

Back to the monday.

After we take care of things. Me and one of my friend took our breakfast at starbucks. I eat this things for breakfast. Praise the lord

Golden Oreo Truffles!

Hi!

So, i just browsing about recipe that no needs for oven.

I have one at home, but i'm too lazy for it. HEHE

So here's the things you'll need:

Golden Oreo

Cream Cheese

Chocolate

It's so easy to find right?

Let's get moving~

First, you need to smash the oreo

Second, pour the cream cheese

Third, mix it all together.

Forth, Make a round shape

Fifth, Put in the refrigirator min. 30 minutes.
(It's better to put in longer. I put it in about 1 night.)

Sixth, Melt the chocolate

Seventh, dip in the melt choco

Eighth, wait until it become cool, and then put in the refrigirator.

DONE !

Hey!

I'll go to collage soon and i move to my home stay there. It's like a dorm actually.

But it doesn't mean like I'll stay there forever. I stay there until i finished my study. 

So, i use the moment to spend my day with friends :)

Yesterday we went to the downtown, and eat food. We went to Nanny's Pavillion.

This pancake taste like martabak for me, haha. The peanut butter on the inside is too sweet though.

and then we chat like what typical group of girls while spend their time together.

I really enjoying my time with them so much. It's been so long i know them, since 9th grade i think.

They're some good people i met. There's no word would describe how much i need to thank them♡

Hyde - Cool Place to Hangout.

Hi!

Today was super exhausting.

But it was fun!

So,we ate our lunch at this place called HYDE 

It's located at Kemang, South Jakarta.

The restaurant itself is kinda hard to find. Well, it's near Die Stube and Common People restaurant.
But if you're familiar with the area its easy though... hehe

The interior is typical of classic restaurant. It's very unique and have a cool background. But it's seriously cozy place to hangout with friends/family. Its also have a bar table in the middle.

Both of this photo is only show you some part of this restaurant. There's more spot of this restaurant that also interesting.

The food is surprisingly good! I thought this place only good for their building. But it's not! Their food is pleased both your mouth and tummy :)

I order this. This dish called creamy pasta, i think. It's pasta with carbonara sauce

Front: somewhat like fish and chips.
Back : i think it's herb salmon with mashed potato.

In the weekdays, i assume it's not too crowded. And in the weekend, i think it's a different story.

Overall this restaurant is pretty good.

Even though is late but at least I'm congratulating you hehe.

Well.. talk about starbucks. They have some sort of secret recipe. I've tried once. Its called Passion Tea Frappucino.

i can't describe it. It just delicious to drink lol.

I'm not like starbucks maniac person. Btw there's one of their beverage is my fav! 

Asian Dolce Latte.

It taste sweet at first but bitter at the end.

I like when its served hot. I think this beverages only available on Asia region.

But i still prefer milk tea or smoothies. 

I rarely drink coffee. I drink it when I'm lack of sleep and feel tired, or sometimes as a refreshment.  

Because one time, i addicted to it and i want to drink it every time, and make my body awake whole time even though it's night.

BOOM !

This holiday is pretty boring somehow. I always do meaningless things. Although i need to start practice my drawing soon. I think that my hands is a bit freeze up when i begin to draw, and also i have to browse something that can make my imagination come alive.

So anyway, i just hungry. 

There's no food in the kitchen which look appealing to my stomach. And Ta-da! I made this. I use microwave about 1 min, and it taste not that good......

but it's kinda fun to make!

It's okay to try, but don't blame me if that taste weird.LOL

And recently i just started and already finished read this manga

I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO READ THIS!!!!

I'm personally not that kind of person that cry if i read romantic story/film.

HACHIKO movie was the first and only movie that i cried over.

This one is different.

Maybe i'm fall into the story or maybe my feelings isn't that great when read this..

But seriously, you need to read this manga. Their also have anime version of it. And it just started about 2 episode.

And you know what? This manga only come once a month

This month is the 42nd chapter. I read all the chapter since yesterday, and yes my sleep hour now is a mess. I finished read nearly entire chapter at 4 am. And i woke up at 9 am then i finished the last one. 

And i still need to wait it next month :(

Singapore ! (pt. two)

So, here's the rest of my day there.
The third day, it was the most tiring day. At the morning we take MRT to Farrer Park. Then we went to Mustafa Center. We bought all the souvenir for colleague there. It has a lot of things like medicine, food, apparel, bags, electronics, etc. Most of our expense is chocolate. I didn't brought for my friends actually, because I'm in the middle of holiday and i will start my school as a freshmen. So, i don't think need to buy anything. Here's the things that belong to our family

After Farrer Park, we went to search for a shoes. My sister longing this shoes for so long. At first, we went to Habourfront again. For searching more design of the shoes from that type. In the end we found nothing, and  I gained something. HAHA. I bought a new bag, the brand is the same as my wallet that i bought yesterday. SO YEAH ! But, i still need to pay the installment every month to my mom, haha.
Finally, we found the shoes! Guess where? ....Orchard. As long as my sister's happy, I'm okay with it.

After a long day, we spent our evening eat some of ice potong.

The last day!
We went to Sentosa Island. We didn't play at Universal Studio. We just walk around. Eat another Garret. This time is all Caramel Crisp. As you know, we took a monorail from there to go to Sentosa. It cost S$ 4.
At noon, we went to Airport, and ready to leave SG! it's such a great time to spent. I hope i can come back there soon, and eat some roasted chestnut, also to refill my chocolate stock which almost gone now.

Singapore ! (pt. one)

As the title say, i went there for 4 days. YEAY !
it's been twice since i was in 5th grade. Well,what kind of typical 5th grader can remember about?
So, i decided to go to Singapore this holiday with my family.
When I was there, I stayed at Fragrance Hotel - Rose. It's located in Balestier Rd. The nearest MRT station around is Novena. The facility of the hotel is average, its have bathroom , TV, AC, and Wi-Fi (you need to pay if you want to use it. 2 hours = S$ 5. All Day = S$ 10). The hotel's room space it's not big. To be honest, it's kinda small for me. But, I recommend it for the backpackers, because it's friendly with your budget, the room is clean and it's cheaper when you booked on the internet (I booked here. The official website: here) .
Well, when i was there i eat a lot and my all time favorite is Yong Tau Foo. I almost every time in meal time eat that. My sister's all time favorite is Chicken Rice. But, in my opinion the chicken rice there and here in Jakarta, its just the same. And the YTF is ofc different. (or it just my tongue ?)

On the first day, I'm just going around in Orchard. Because, my father need to check up at Medical Center in Paragon. After finishing the check up, we browsing all the mall there like Lucky Plaza, Isetan, Ngee Ann City and of course Paragon. Then i found the popcorn shop called Garrett.

And you know what, when i was there. There all sale every where, the event called Great Singapore Sale. And no, i don't crazy with that. I just got a wallet. My mom bought it for me as a present. Well, Thanks mom!
Also my sister want to buy a cardigan at Aeropostale, but we find it hard to just locate the store. we did a lot of searching for the cardigan all over the place. In the end, we find the store but there's no cardigan she want.......

The second day, i went to Marina Bay and Bugis. Marina Bay is popular with the ship above the 3 buildings and the casino. I just take a look at the shops and Garden by the bay. Btw, if you want to go there, Garden by the bay, you need to walk far away. Because, I'm too tired i just took this photo

After there, I went to Bugis. Well, i think i go to Bugis first, then Marina Bay second. HAHA. I didn't buy a thing there. We just take a look and walk around. Well, I did buy a roasted chestnut and eat it right away. Here's i present you Bugis Street
