Winter Holiday. (PART ONE)

it's been a long time since i write.

i'm currently active in Youtube than other social media i have.

.

i know its been so long since winter and now is almost fall.

but its never to late to write right? hehe
and i just start missing this trip :(

it's been 8 months, i went to Europe. thankfully my parents can support me and made me enjoy the trip. I went there without my family, but with my school mates. we went to France, Italy, and UEA. the trip is about 9 days.

and it's SUPER FUN

i hope i can go there again but this time with my family.
.
as you know, I'm majoring in Architecture, so this trip mostly is a trip to see a building with a history behind it or have a super structure that we never see before.
.
FYI, 2 days before the departure i fell sick and i even got fever, LOL
my mom even afraid that i'll be deported back, but that's not happening. So, i just went there in the condition that i have a fever and there's winter.
.
.
So, then i went to Paris, transit in Abu Dhabi.
yea, then got to Paris after several hours flying in the air.
.
Charles de Gaulle Airport.
.
Finally Paris.
it's 9 degree celsius outside the airport and i don't wear heat tech inner (because i thought i can bear the cold very well, and super lazy to wear it)
well done. it's super windy in Paris
I'm freezing cold, even at the bus with the heater on.
still
i'm still freezing

.
we arrive there like in the evening
then we went to La Defense right a way, and arrive there like 7/8 PM
where the temperature usually went down.
LIKE WHAT
i cant even talk and we need to walk there by foot, it's super not cool
and i even dress like a villa guard.
it's funny when i think it back, but that doesn't feel funny at all back then.

but i can say the view is amazing.

Catching UP !

hi ! again

I'm in the middle of my summer break, this evening i just got news that my campus is extend our break until august 22nd. Isn't that amazing? I got one week bonus of doing nothing. It's like a chance to do more fun this holiday.

.

Since it's been a long time i'm talking here. I've been through a lot of things.

there's time when i failed one of my class, and that one is the most important class that i need to pass if i want to graduate fast. Now, I'll be late to graduate :(

.

But,

It's not really a bad thing, right? 

Of course, 

i feel bad to my parents because they need to support me a bit longer than they've been planned. I also feel lost about many things. 

Well, i can't do anything about it now, because it's already happen. I just need to try harder next time, because this situation like slapping me in my face to tell me to be more serious in my study.

okay, move on.

After i'm going through all that,

my family and i going to Singapore for a week! Although the purpose is to check-up my sister eyes (now her both eyes is doing great!) , but we're also spent a lot of time to do some fun.

.

Here's some recap:

We went to a lot of mall, ofc,

And there's one mall you all need to know! It's called IMM (exit Jurong East MRT)

it's like a mall of outlet.

yes, you can find a lot cheaper things here than normal store. The outlet that you find there is not like the factory outlet one, that you can find in Indonesia. 

Some brand that you all also know like COACH, AGNES B, FURLA, COTTON ON, etc is opening their own store, just like a normal mall, but cheaper.

well, that one should explain all.

Tips for you guys, it's pretty far from the MRT station, it takes about 10 min. to get there, Not to worry they have an access (called J-Walk) to get there, 

and you need to see the direction of the exit.

if not maybe you'll be tired to explore all those area.

.

there's also a story behind this mall.

my sister phone is lost in that mall.

because she left it in the some kind of "restroom wall "( about 100 cm high, well i don't know what it called..) behind the toilet.

and just realized it 2 hours later when we're already in Bugis.

that's such a bad day for her.

until know we don't know where her phone is. 

It's gone.

Arromanis Corner Store

Dessert time!

Fruity Pebbles Soft Ice Cream - 25k (cup)
the ice cream definitely like fruity pebbles itself!
beware of sweetness overload. This is exactly what happen to me after eating this. maybe i can't handle too much sweet. It's good though, even the proportion match it perfectly.

Green Tea Hard Ice Cream - 28k (cone)
as for the green tea, which boom-ing nowdays. Well, it taste like green tea. The different with the other green tea ice cream out there, is they add ovomaltine spread on its top. it tastes unique with the green tea.

actually, I want the festive cone one, but it's already sold out :(

Miss Bee Providore (again)

hi guys!

so today I went to there again with my friend, as you can see...

k, let's get in to it!

What we order :

Deep Fried Pizza - 49,5k

this basically a pizza, fold it into a half and you deep fried it. DONE.

fills with mozzarella cheese and ham. This is a perfect match for snack time! I really recommended this! especially the sauce!

ps: if you're not like greasy foods, better to not order this.

Larb Gai Pasta - 52,5k

you can choose either spagetti or fettuchini as the pasta, this time we choose spagetti.

as the person who like spicy food, but with a low tolerance to it. This pasta is superb! and the aroma of the some spice. 

Honey Gingerade - 27,5k // Lychee and Basil Tea - 29,5k

as for the honey gingerade it taste like wedang jahe, and it's not sweet! this drink is refreshing though!

Water Colour - kind of difficult.

so, these days. I train my water colour skill.
It's not my first time use water colour. My first time it's when I'm doing my assignment project, and it's SOOOOO FAIL. yes. FAIL, but I still collect that fail paper for the final.
Well, what can I do ? I didn't have much time to do that over again.

And after that tragedy happen, I push my self to understand how to use these things.
The conclusion is.

You need to use water.

this is serious. I'm not try to be funny.
you need to "use" water.
YES
.
use water. this means you need to know when you use it, how much you use it, where you use it.
that's the secret to use water colour.

well, it's not as pretty as other expert people on the web. but at least I try. 

Maybe, I need to collect it, and make some project with it. it's pretty good for greeting cards btw.

I hope some day in the future, i have my minds up to make this kind of flowery things with water colour and be better :D

Happy Breakfasting !

Hello, people. Look who's back? ME!

Happy Breakfasting for the muslim , hope you all get the reward from it.

So.
I just came back and forward within my home and dorm.
Why? Because I had to take a short semester. :(
It's fun though. My internet connection like a free way, and feel like I'm on holiday.

k, yesterday I eat this.

It's taiyaki (Japanese kind of pancake in fish shape) with green tea ice cream.
I bought it here
And there's some promotion going on. You can get it for Rp 28.ooo if you follow them on Instagram (Normal Price : Rp 33.ooo).
For the taste. It's so - so for me, but the red bean filling texture is smoother than I expected (you can choose either vanilla, nutella or red bean as the choice of the filling). But my sister said that the green tea ice cream is flavour-y.

It's perfect for these day when the sun is almost killing you also when breaking the fast. Eat ice cream.

IKEA Home Furnishing

This place is so popular lately.
Yep, this is the first Ikea branch ever in Indonesia.

Please ignore that annoying street lamp. 

Why this place become so popular?
Well, Indonesian, especially teenagers, watched video from youtube, thats include some beauty guru, comedian, music and many more. In conclusion, they thinks Ikea is some kind of cool place, because the foreigner shop their furniture there.
That's that. And this disease spread out like that.

Because of the curiosity, I went there. Yea
It is like furniture shops in general. But the good point about this store is well-organized.

Showroom.

We are human, so if there's something new that different, it catches our attention. That's also one thing that makes ikea become popular.
People in another country that already have ikea in their region maybe don't feel that amused.
The difference here is we're serving our self.
In short, we look the things we want in the showroom, and pick the things in their warehouse ourself and then we pay. We also build them ourself. Yep like that.

there's a pencil, list paper, ruler,and guide paper. This thing is scattered in showroom area.
If you're planning to buy something, don't forget to take them one with you!

This time I went to nearby cafe,called

TWO HANDS FULL

They also served all-day breakfast menu, and their portions of food really make you full enough.

So, about their place.

It's cozy for hang out with some friends, and their interior looks like a warehouse.

/slow cooked pulled pork tapped with poached eggs,apple-cider,hollandaise sauce on toasted sourdough/
Yep, that pork seriously fill you up until you can't eat anymore.

Croque Madame - 55k
/smoked gammon ham,gruyere cheese,bechamel sauce, and topped with a fried egg/
This one is really good one! the salad good, and there's cheese everywhere. YUM

Freakin' Good - 50k
/pork belly and spinach pure sandwich with gazpacho/
as the name said, its freakin good!

Ice Latte - 30k
Taste like the usual ice coffee that you drink in the other cafe.

Chai Latte - 30k
It's non-coffee beverage. Taste like milk and have some herb in it.

This place isn't that crowded, that's why I feel comfortable there.
And this place is very easy to find, comparing to other cafe in general.
Their food taste really good for a cafe. Its worth a try!

Pasar Seni ITB!

Hey guys, it's been a while.

I'm too busy this month.

fortunately, this afternoon my class is being cancelled. Praise to Lord!

So, two days ago, Nov 23th

One of institute in Bandung held an event about art called Pasar Seni.
 Its only come once every 4 years and only one day.

As i'm imagine, it'll be crowded. 

and it was.....

BUT 

it waaaaay too crowded. 

no. i don't imagine could be this much people come.

It's kinda hard to concentrate and enjoy yourself there, seriously.

But i think it's worth some pain to see how cool their event.

To be honest, i don't know what it is. I just thought this is a cool sculpture.
As far as i know, this thing work when you clap, and the lamp that hanging in there will be on.

Some kind of installation, this things placed on all way to the main stage

Okay, I want to share some story with you guys about this event
So, at first my friends and I planned to come and meet there on the spot, and we're all agree.
Before d-day, another friends of mine from high school came and want to meet up, so i'm also agree.

And I schedule my day.
In the morning, I went to chruch, then went to the event as soon as i finished.
At first , I need to see my old mates, then meet my friends.
.
VOILA!
all of that plan become a mess.
Rain.
Crowd.
Bad Signal.
those things, really ruin it.
.
.
But yes, in the end I meet my friends. Even though i need to searched it the sea of human.
After all, this event is super cool!
The decoration is very unique.
